When it comes to holidays, simple ideas are the best. This year, I decided to do 7 short videos for aweek's worth of easy & inexpensive EASTER ideas. You are going to love these!
Holidays provide the perfect opportunity to make magical memories. Today, I'm sharing delightful Easter ideas (and freebies) that are guaranteed to impress the Easter Bunny!
1) Coupons from the Easter Bunny are a wonderful alternative to candy in an Easter basket, and I made some FREE ones that you can download below.
To download the coupons I designed (for free):click on the photo below, right-click, save it to your computer, and print like a regular 8x10 photo.
2) Magic jelly beans are another fun option for an Easter basket. I have a free printable envelope you can print below. Fill it with jelly beans and pop it in an Easter basket.
The kids can follow the instructions from the Easter bunny: plant it in sugar on Easter Sunday, and on Monday morning, the jelly beans will grow into something fun. :-)

3) Homemade goodies are great, but this shortcut is sure to impress. Who wouldn't love a chocolate bunny on a stick? It's soooo adorable.
Just take a store-bought bunny, and attach a sucker stick to the back with some melted chocolate. Let it dry, and that's it!
Pop them in cellophane bags, tie with ribbon, and add a name tag if desired. Easy peasy!

I love celebrating holidays with easy and inexpensive DIYs and treats... and Easter is one of my favourites. Today, I'm sharing a couple of ideas of NEW ideas that use dollar store supplies to create fabulous things. You are going to LOVE these!!!
1) Bunny Tail Treats - How cute are these bunny tail treats? Grab some dollar store cotton candy, form it into balls that look like "bunny tails", place them in bags, and add the cute tags I designed.
To download the tags:click on the picture below, right-click, save it to your computer, and print it like a regular 4x6 photo.
2) Bunny Tail Mocktail / Cocktail - Add some 7 Up to a glass, and pop in a cotton candy "bunny tail". It's that easy!
3) Dollar Store Bunny Tree - This little white tree is one I purchased at the dollar store at Christmas, but I decorate it for ALL the holidays. For Easter, I added dollar store egg ornaments and the ears from a dollar store headband.
4) No Sew Sherpa Bunny Pillow - This pillow is made from dollar store "car wash cloths"! They are sold in a package of 6, so it's easy to make a herd of bunnies. Cut a bunny shape from two of the cloths, glue the outsides together (except for the bottoms), turn it inside out, stuff it with cotton batten, glue up the bottom, and hot glue a pom pom to the back. It is super-easy and cheap... and it looks really high-end!

These no-bake mini egg Easter cookies are an annual tradition at my house. My boys and I bake them together, we eat too many, and we share them with friends. They are easy to make and absolutely delicious... and today I'm sharing the recipe, serving ideas and a short 2 minute instructional video.
To make these adorable Easter cookies: 1) Mix together the following dry ingredients, and set aside:
3 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
1/4 tsp salt
2) Put the following ingredients in a saucepan, and bring to a boil:
2 cups white sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
3) Remove from heat, and stir in dry ingredients.
4) Before the mixture starts to dry out, drop the mixture from heaping teaspoons onto wax paper (or use a cookie scoop), and add three candy covered chocolate eggs to the middle of each cookie.
Allow to cool completely.

What is more fun than an Easter basket full of candy... an Easter basket MADE of candy (of course). This simple DIY uses dollar store supplies, and it is easy to make. This candy Easter basket is the perfect Easter treat for kids and adults. Keep reading for the step by step instructions... including and easy to follow video.
You'll need:

Start by gluing the ends of the boxes with hot glue and forming the boxes into a square. Make sure the labels are facing out.
Flip the boxes upside down, and hot glue a piece of the cereal box to create a bottom for the box.
Then, make a handle by stringing Froot Loops onto a pipe cleaner.
Use hot glue to secure the handle to the candy boxes.
Finish by filling the box with Easter grass and treats. Cute, right?!?
