Foam Super Hero Masks

These masks are really simple to make, and they turn out "super" cute.  {I can't resist a pun. lol}

I am making a bunch for my boys' Super Hero party, but they would make a great addition to any dress up box.

You'll need:

  • foam sheets (I used Elmer's foam sheets in Royal Blue)
  • thin elastic
  • scissors and a hole punch
  • a paper template (They are all over the web, but here is the one I used.)

First, use a paper template to cut out a mask "shape" from the foam.  Use the hole punch to punch a hole on each side.

Second, measure the elastic to fit the child's head.  (Mine were a little over 12 inches.)

Third, tie the elastic through the holes in the mask, and secure with a double knot.

That's it!  Told you it was easy.  :-)

  5. thank you so much! By far the easiest tutorial on the web! So many others are similar but make the process too complicated. These are going to be perfect for our superhero party!
