For the record... here is the before picture of my bathroom. I have no drawers in the bathroom, so I used the side of the cabinet door under my sink.
All you need for this project is a pair of scissors, some lightweight plastic cups from the dollar store, and velcro strips that are sticky on the back.
Then:
1) You'll want to clean the back of cabinet door really well, and allow it to dry completely.
2) Cut the velcro strips to the length of the cups.
3) Attach the "hook" side to the cabinet door.
4) Attach the "loop" side to the cups.
5) Attach the cups to the door. (Tip... Leave a little it of space above the cup so that the weight of the cup isn't constantly pulling on the top of the velcro strip.)
That's it! I love how simple this solution is and the fact that I can easily remove the cups for cleaning.
Now my boys have a place for their toothbrushes, and my sink looks like this...

DeleteThank you I have 3 grandkids from the age 4 and 2 years-old and 11 months old. This will work out perfectly. Again thank you.

ReplyDeleteOh! Yes definitely! Even my dentist Hermosa Beach told me to this after I went to him with my stained and dirty teeth. He told me to boil them properly and brush your teeth twice a day. I used to be very scared of dentists as a child but after meeting him and seeing his work, it does affect me that much.
ReplyDeleteTried it with a twist!
ReplyDeleteUsed the things that go on drier hose around the rim. They can be taken out and used to rinse your mouth. Then cleaned and replaced.
How did you attach it to the cabinet door?
DeleteWith the velcro. I show it in the post.
DeleteI am remodeling my bathroom and the medicine cabinets with LED lighting are super expensive. Opting for a LED vanity mirror is more affordable. This will allow me to still store the toothbrushes off of the counter since I won't be able to use the space in a medicine cabinet. This is also better because it's easier for my 4year old son to reach on his own.
