1) My boys love to move. -- Although I find it exhausting at times, I love that my boys are so active. My guys love to play sports, chase each other around the yard, and dance around the house. PS (Little boys make awesome dance partners.)
2) My boys play the best games. -- My house is full of LEGO, mini sticks, light sabers and race cars. We may not have a single princess dress, but our dress up box is brimming with Jedi robes, super hero capes, pirate clothes, and hockey jerseys.
3) My boys are best friends and they build fantastic forts together. A few blankets, pillows, and chairs can keep them entertained for hours.
4) My boys don't fight about clothes. -- I don't have to fight about what they wear to school each day. My boys are happiest in jeans and t-shirts. Add ball caps and sneakers, and they are good to go! (and... having three boys means lots of "hand-me-downs"... score!)
5) My boys give big hugs and heartfelt kisses. -- They are also awesome cuddlers... and they love their mom!
And on top of all this, I can save time when I am trying to get somewhere because I don't need to use their names. I can just say "come on boys", "hurry up boys", and "don't forget your coats boys". :-)

I only have 2 boys but all this is so true for me too. especially the dress up box- we have star wars characters, Indiana Jones, and pirates. they are so much fun each and every day. I love them so much.

DeleteI totally agree! I love that my boys are not particular about what they wear or how their hair is cut. They are very affectionate and cuddly. I am also developing a love of bugs and reptiles and all things muddy and messy, which i never experienced as a child myself. Bonus! ~Linda

DeleteLove my two MacDougall boys! I wouldn't trade them for anything, but I am going to have more and I will be blessed if it's a boy. I am a mom who has suffered through six miscarriages, so every child is a blessing. I too love boy cuddles - they are the very best!

ReplyDelete3 boys here....and YUP all of those things. Oh and b/c I am the only girl "Mommy is the only girl she is special!" and anything pink is automatically mine...yes I do try to find pink cookies ;)

DeleteI only have 2 boys, but can relate to most ..... except the clothing....I have to fight with mine about clothes all the time.....

DeleteI have 4 boys. And I HATE the "try for a girl" comments. I am GREAT with my boys TYVM :D I like the last thought - much easier to yell "BOYS!" at the playground and they know who I am calling lol. :D
