Spring is here, and my boys and I are already dreaming about summer. Every year, we make a summer bucket list containing 50 fun summer activities, and we spend the summer months working our way through the list. Then, when we complete our list, we celebrate with an "Ice Cream for Supper" party. Fun, right?
Here are some of the lists we have used in the past. (You can click on the links below for free printable versions of our lists.) Our list from 2011
LEGOLAND is #1 on ours! Followed closely by making our own marine touch tank at a beach close to the hearts of Daddy and his brother who is bringing his family to visit from Manitoba!
We are a family of 5 here so travelling by air can be a bit expensive and out of our money range so this year the #1 thing on our Bucket list is to go camping in Terra Nova National park here in Newfoundland for 7 days!
usually your bucket list is so well designed with easily attainable and mostly local or close to home ideas - i love that! Keeping with that theme this year we'd like to see the bucket list include, "try a new sport" - because our boys want to learn to kayak on the lake this summer ("all by myself this year, mommy")
this summer will be a fun one for my family and I. I have two kids and the youngest is just learning to walk and will be her first summer to play outside is the grass and such. So ower #1 goal this summer is just to be a family. no matter what we want to do, we do it together is some way. The theme you could say for this year is Family and Friends. we would like to take our pop up camper and find a new campground and explore new part of NS we haven't seen with the 3 kids:) and our extended family..and take the kids fishing
My summer bucket list includes getting my garden planted on time and organizing my file cabinets (both of which are unlikely to happen) and visiting family and friends in Alberta (which will happen!).
